I'm not sure what I want to do first.

Write my books while working retail, or trying to get a massage therapy license before trying to write my books. How do I prioritize? What should I be doing?

I need to get to the next step in my life, but I'm not sure what's the way to do it yet. It's not impossible for me to do, but it's certainly something I need to do. A method, to get to where I want to be.

BELATED NOTICE ON WORK SITUATION:

The Vice President of the company visited and he really adored me. Apparently, I impressed him so much that my district manager HUGGED ME when it was all over and done. Everyone at work thanked me for being the one available to deal with him.

So yeah. Things at work are going fairly well. Now I just kinda wish they'd give me slightly less hours. JUST SLIGHTLY LESS AHHHHH.

This week, we're expecting the vice president of the company to come visit our store and others. So we've been preparing.

Yesterday, I found out the VP fired our regional manager, who was basically like Mr. Rogers. Our district manager is next on the list. My manager keeps telling me what an asshole this guy is. I'm slightly freaked to meet this guy; I can put on a pretty nice face for him if that's what it takes to keep my job (for now), but at the rate things are going with this company, I think I'm better off finding a new job.

I'm also mildly pissed that my manager scheduled herself off from the two days he's expected to visit us. I feel kind of REALLY DITCHED by her. I love my manager, but it was kind of a dick move.

Cleaned my shirt. It's got a hole in it now. Need a new shirt. Balls.

It was good to have Ryuu over here.

We derped a lot. Pretty much just geeking out over comics and good stuff, but I liked walking around Portland with her and Jolta. It was fun.

Pretty much the only downer I have is that my cat's been missing a few days. I don't blame anyone particular for it. I'm just mainly worried about her. Avalon's a selfish, spoiled little fat brat, but I love her dearly. I've been missing her everyday, and now she's run off somewhere.

Gonna try to look for her tomorrow with Rev. We'll see. I'm trying to not let it bother me, but I think... most of all, I blame me. For not trying to find a conclusion to this housing situation sooner. For not planning this out better. Or... IDK, I know I'm being illogical about it, but yeah. Mostly blame me for not being there enough for my cat considering the somewhat unique situation I've placed myself into. One in which I do not regret, but is far more complicated than originally predicted.

At any rate. Mostly a good weekend, despite that. Looking to see if I can get my massage therapy license. I'm pretty much done with retail. I love working with vitamins and supplements and helping others, but the retail aspect of it is painful and irritating. I'd love nothing more than to leave retail behind.
